Carol Retseck Leirer is a Colorado attorney with more than twenty-five years of experience in litigation, prosecution, judicial service, private practice, and business operations. Her legal career has spanned a wide range of practice areas including criminal law, juvenile proceedings, domestic relations, probate and trust administration, guardianships and conservatorships, civil litigation, estate planning, and business matters.

Ms. Leirer began her legal career as a Judicial Law Clerk to Denver Judge Gloria Rivera, where she gained firsthand experience in judicial decision-making, courtroom administration, legal research, and judicial writing. She later served as a Deputy District Attorney for Colorado’s 1st Judicial District, conducting more than 160 jury and bench trials across County, Juvenile, and District Courts. During her tenure, she handled misdemeanor, felony, traffic, and juvenile matters while working closely with law enforcement agencies, court personnel, victims, families, and community organizations.

In private practice, Ms. Leirer has represented individuals, families, and businesses in a variety of legal matters ranging from probate and trust litigation to criminal defense, domestic relations, business law, and civil disputes. Her work has included courtroom litigation, mediation, strategic legal counseling, and operational guidance for business entities and organizations.
